The style of therapy Karen
uses in her practice is "eclectic" in that she draws upon different
theories and techniques which she feels are appropriate for a particular
client. She does not use hypnosis, nor does she use any
experimental, unproven, or "way out there" techniques. As the
client, counseling is your journey and you remain in control of the
process. You must take responsibility for doing the work, but as
your counselor and therapist Karen will guide you, gently confront you,
question you, and challenge you to think in the areas of
self-understanding, setting goals and priorities, and behavior change.
